Emma Webster is a devoted mother.

Emma Webster is innocent of the murder of a tabloid journalist.

Emma Webster is a liar.

#Reputation: The story you tell about yourself. And the lies others choose to believe…

Firstly a big thank you to the publishers for my copy to review on netgalley.

Im a big fan of her books and am so excited for the Netflix adaption of anatomy of a scandal. So I was very excited to read this which I was hearing a lot of good things about .

I raced through this thought provoking and cleverly written thriller.

Complex and accurate in today’s society, I’m sure every reader can nod their head in agreement at some point or another.

It’s hard hitting, relatable and real.. these are issues happening right now. Sarah writes about them sensitivity but not shying away from the difficult topics.

The mother daughter relationship is explored here in regards to boundaries and with communicating with your kids.

This is gripping ,addictive and will get under your skin . It asks the question what would you do?

Another fantastic book from this author .

Her identical twin Katie is her exact opposite: gregarious and spontaneous. They used to be inseparable, until Katie moved to New York a year ago. Molly still speaks to her daily without fail.

As terrifying as it is, she must go there and find out what happened. As she tracks her twin’s last movements, cracks begin to emerge. Nothing is what it seems. And a web of deceit is closing around her.

Firstly a big thank you to the publishers for my copy to review on netgalley . Will is a fantastic writer within the crime community.

This is a clever twisty unpredictable standalone and one I was excited to read after loving his debut standalone .

Dark and haunting from the very Start as we discover Katie twin to Molly has died . Its all systems go to get to the states and try and find the truth…how and why is she dead….

As truths are unravelled so is the relationship between these twin sisters…how can they be so different and living different lives .

Twins are fascinating so I enjoyed them being the focus point in a crime thriller. Will also encapsulated the setting of new york with all of its quirky ways .

Packed with twists and turns this won’t dissapoint .

BOOK REVIEW NASTY LITTLE CUTS BY TINA BAKER

WHO WILL SURVIVE THE NIGHT?

A nightmare jolts Debs awake. She leaves the kids tucked up in their beds and goes downstairs. There’s a man in her kitchen, holding a knife. But it’s not an intruder. This is her husband Marc, the father of her children. A man she no longer recognises.

Once their differences were what drew them together, what turned them on. Him, the ex-army officer from a good family. Her, the fitness instructor who grew up over a pub. But now these differences grate to the point of drawing blood. Marc screams in his sleep. And Debs hardly knows the person she’s become, or why she lets him hurt her.

Neither of them is completely innocent. Neither is totally guilty. Marc is taller, stronger, and more vicious, haunted by a war he can’t forget. But he has no idea what Debs is capable of when her children’s lives are at stake…

Firstly a big thank you to the publishers for my copy to review on netgalley,  I loved her debut so was thrilled to read this.

Tina always comes across very smiley bit don’t be fooled because her writers mind is dark !

This is an intoxicating exploration of a married couple and what has happened to get them to where they are in the book.

Revenge  ,lies, secrets and addiction to name just a few keypoints to this marriage.

Powerfully emotive and raw. I’ve been in a abusive relationship and it was captured spot on.

The tension , the harrowing sense of foreboding tension.  Chilling and reels you in from the start.

Written in alternate narratives and timeliness so a very fast paced book. Cleverly written and plotted and I highly recommend.
