Firstly a big thank you to the publishers for approving my netgalley request to read. This is a new author for me.

This is a book that will make you angry and fruststed. Lydia needs her head examined! However i know what love can do to rationale.

Very twisty and fast paced.

Incredibly claustrophobic and suffocates you as the web moves in. Dark and thrilling!

Whizzed through this and albeit predictable in some parts it is still a exciting addictive book. You will go on a real journey through the pages.

I look forward to reading more from this author.

BOOK REVIEW WHERE WE BELONG BY ANSTEY HARRIS

One summer.
One house.
One family learning to love again.

Cate Morris and her son, Leo, are homeless, adrift. They’ve packed up the boxes from their London home, said goodbye to friends and colleagues, and now they are on their way to ‘Hatters Museum of the Wide Wide World – to stay just for the summer. Cate doesn’t want to be there, in Richard’s family home without Richard to guide her any more. And she knows for sure that Araminta, the retainer of the collection of dusty objects and stuffed animals, has taken against them. But they have nowhere else to go. They have to make the best of it.
But Richard hasn’t told Cate the truth about his family’s history. And something about the house starts to work its way under her skin.
Can she really walk away, once she knows the truth?

Firstly thank you to Sj for my copy to review. I absolutely loved her debut book and its amazing to see its success.

This is a beautifully written story about love, loss ,family and secrets.

As a mum to children with special needs i could relate to the family dynamics that was shown. However it was good that wasnt the focus of either the book or the charactar .

A unique, fascinating setting for a story to take place. The words jump off the page as they articulate the surroundings perfectly.

Theres a lot of challenges in their lives and obstacles in the future . But working together as a team and opening up their home and hearts could be the answer .

This is a quirky book and especially as we are in lockdown , use this opportunity to escape into another world through reading.

Anstey is a storyteller and a joy go have met.

I wish her every success with this book which from the cover alone will be catching peoples eye.

BOOK REVIEW DEAR EMMIE BLUE BY LIA LOUIS

At sixteen, Emmie Blue stood in the fields of her school and released a red balloon into the sky. Attached was her name, her email address…and a secret she desperately wanted to be free of. Weeks later, on a beach in France, Lucas Moreau discovered the balloon and immediately emailed the attached addressed, sparking an intense friendship between the two teens.
Now, fourteen years later, Emmie is hiding the fact that she’s desperately in love with Lucas. She has pinned all her hopes on him and waits patiently for him to finally admit that she’s the one for him. So dedicated to her love for Lucas, Emmie has all but neglected her life outside of this relationship–she’s given up the search for her absentee father, no longer tries to build bridges with her distant mother, and lives as a lodger to an old lady she barely knows after being laid off from her job. And when Lucas tells Emmie he has a big question to ask her, she’s convinced this is the moment he’ll reveal his feelings for her. But nothing in life ever quite goes as planned, does it?
Emmie Blue is about to learn everything she thinks she knows about life (and love) is just that: what she thinks she knows. Is there such thing as meant to be? Or is it true when they say that life is what happens when you are busy making other plans? A story filled with heart and humor, Dear Emmie Blue is perfect for fans of Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine and Evvie Drake Starts Over.

Firstly a big thank you to the publishers for approving my request to read on netgalley. Ive interacted a lot with this author but yet to read her debut so was excited to read this. Following reading i can safely say ill be a fan of all of her work.

This is a beautiful book and written so eloquently that ive fallen in love. Not only with the story and characters but also with words again . The power they have will always remind me how amazing it is to read.

Heartwarming and at times heartbreaking. A real rollercoaster of emotions! Full of humour and relatable moments.

I could resonate with Emmie in many ways and shes just a great character. We all need to love who we are a bit more.

My heart was whisked away and i swooned a lot but i wont give spoilers…

Highly recommend if you enjoy Miranda Dickinson and Roxie Cooper books.
