BLOG TOUR SATURDAYS AT NOON BY RACHEL MARKS

Emily just wants to keep the world away.

After getting into trouble yet again, she’s agreed to attend anger management classes. But she refuses to share her deepest secrets with a room full of strangers.

Jake just wants to keep his family together.

He’ll do anything to save his marriage and bond with his six-year-old son, Alfie. But when he’s paired with spiky Emily, he wonders whether opening up will do more harm than good.

The two of them couldn’t be more different. Yet when Alfie, who never likes strangers, meets Emily, something extraordinary happens.

Could one small boy change everything?

Firstly a huge thank you to Sriya for my copy to review and having me on the tour.

This book is a phenomenal debut and Rachel is a author to watch!

Be prepared to have your emotions pulled in all directions as you go on a real journey with Emily,Jake and most importantly Alfie. This made me cry as a mum to children with autism. This captures their world perfectly so thank you to Rachel for giving them a voice.

Sensitively written and captures the reality of a hard gig at times albeit rewarding. Its warm, funny and life affirming When they meet their lives are somewhat cloudy but with the help of Alfie the sun shines through.

I cant wait to see what she writes next and i wish her every success with this book.

Published 6th February and do check out the other blogs taking part in the tour.
