Every Monday, 49-year-old Ellie looks after her grandson Josh. She loves him more than anyone else in the world. The only thing that can mar her happiness is her husband’s affair. But he swears it’s over now, and Ellie has decided to be thankful for what she’s got.

Then one day, while she’s looking after Josh, her husband gets a call from that woman. And just for a moment, Ellie takes her eyes off her grandson. What happens next will change her life forever.

Because Ellie is hiding something in her past.

And what looks like an accident could start to look like murder…

Jane is one of those authors who i know i will love whatever she writes. Her books are amazing! And this is no exception, it may even be my favourite. Incredibly clever and twisty this left me in awe and gobsmacked. I could relate a lot to Ellie … wont say too much as spoilers but i want to thank Jane for creating a charactar with a condition not often spoke about. Plus dealt with really well .A layered storyline that at times i thought where is this going and how do these dots connect…but my goodness when you realise its a wow moment.A wide array of charactars and sone not particularly nice i must say. You really feel for Ellie in some parts. As someone studying psychology this book demonstrates the link between childhood events and how you grow into a adult.Gripping ,addictive and chilling i couldnt put it down . Completely unpredictable .Highly recommend If you enjoy a dark twisty psychological thriller but written with emotion and sensitivity.
