I knew she was trouble from the moment I saw her. I felt it as she stood in the doorway that day: disaster. Not just because she was so different, that skin and that hair, as different from me as it’s possible to be. There was something wrong about her. Wrong for us. It was never going to work.

Now she is dead and only I am left to love him. She is dead, and it’s all my fault.

I had been intrigued by this from other bloggers on twitter and then saw it recomended by Dorothy Koomson . I knew i needed to read it then .

Wow… what a read!

With so many thrillers out in the market its getting harder and harder to get the mixture right to have full impact . Well this has it all.

Domestic drama and cultural tension with governments decisions.

Told in alternare narratives and this genuinly shocked me. It was both brilliant and terrifying getting into a teenagers mind especially one so angry and confused at the world.

A fantastic read and i cant wait to read more from Rachel.
