BOOK REVIEW VOX BY CHRISTINA DALCHER

Silence can be deafening.

Imagine a world in which you can only speak 100 words a day.

Any more and a thousand volts of electricity will course through your veins.

But only if you’re a woman.

Firstly a huge thank you to hq for my proof copy which i won. There is a lot of buzz around this book and after reading it i can tell you the buzz is 100 % accurate.

I whizzed through this and had my jaw dropped for a large part as this has a lot of wtf moments.

Never has a book been so cultural relevant than this in 2018… the year where channel 4 plays the handsmaid tale and women in Ireland used their voice for the good of themselves and other women.

I am a huge dystopian fan as often the reader is forced to imagine a alternate world. Vox does that and so much more
Just imagine only having 100 words a day. …. now imagine going over by 20 words…. you would be treated to a bolt of pain.

This book is exceptionally written , compelling thought provoking and so addictive.

A story of strength and courage in dark times.

Just an amazing book that days on is heavy on my mind.

Believe the hype preorder buy borrow vox which will be the quietest bestseller this summer….

Published 23rd August and i wish the author every success .
