BOOK REVIEW RIGHT BEHIND YOU BY LISA GARDNER

Thirteen-year-old Sharlah Nash knows that the first time her brother killed eight years ago, he did it to save their lives.

Now retired FBI profiler Pierce Quincy and his wife Rainie Conner have offered Sharlah a new life of safety. She desperately wants to believe this is her shot at happily ever after.

Then two people are murdered in their local convenience store and Sharlah’s brother is identified as the killer.

Telly Ray Nash is on the hunt for Sharlah and as the death count rises it becomes clear that nothing and no-one, including Pierce and Rainie, will stop him getting to her.

Now, Sharlah has one chance to take control.

She can run for her life… or turn and face the danger right behind her.

Firstly a big thank you to bookbridgr for my copy to review. I’ve read a few of her books and have enjoyed them all.

This is action packed full of adrelian and very tense !

As someone who has been in the care system it’s really interesting to read about in fiction and the impact it can have on the young individual.

This book unravels to tell the truth and it is not what people are expecting.

A story about family and what makes a family. Good and bad. … are we always one or the other? Who are we when our past has damaged us?

Is there hope for someone who’s future looks destined to fail?

As a dog lover and owner I loved reading about the dog that provided a lot of comfort to Sharlah . Their bond was very precious.

Edge of your seat thrilling read that I whole heartedly recommend.
