Firstly a big thank you to Sarah at penguin for my copy to review.
I know without even reading the blurb that I will enjoy one of Claire books. She is superb at writing a twisty psychological thriller .
Last seen alive is amazing ,im writing this late at night after finishing it so it’s fresh in my thoughts .
I did not in a million years see where this was going…..it has huge shock factor.
The first half I was enjoying but admitted I was feeling frustrated at the characters then boom….
This is so dark and tense it makes you feel almost suffocated when reading . Also paranoid and on the edge of your seat .
Who can you trust? What is real ?
Incredibly written and very clever.
Just go read if you want fast paced chilling read this summer .
Cannot recommend enough and I’m in awe of Claires writing …. her ability to pull the rug from under the readers feet !
