Firstly thank you to Grace at little brown for sending me a copy to read.

I had heard great reviews and there was a real buzz surrounding this book.

I’ll be honest and say to me it feels like I can’t say I hated it or loved it.

Its a very intense claustrophobic dark book .However there were moments I felt like giving up .

Whether this was the storyline or I didn’t feel a great connection to the characters. Though there were moments i could understand Lacey and her frustations. needless to say this is a book that builds up and with a explosion for a ending so I’m glad I finished it.

It is a story been told before good girl goes bad but this had more depth and twists.

There were certainly some shocking parts fuelled with teenage angst frustrations ,drugs ,drink and sex.

A complex book that certainly makes you reflect when you turn that last page .  This is a author who knows how to be captivating with her words.
