I absolutely loved this book and it completely captured me and my heart .

I have always had a soft spot for second world war so was thrilled to read the history in this book .The characters were brilliant and the friendships beautiful both in the past and present day .
I couldn’t put this down and I look forward to reading more of Ericas books .
This is a story of friendship ,love ,loss but most importantly I felt it explored the eventualities and uncertainties of life and what choices do you make ?
