Rachel catches the same commuter train every morning. She knows it will wait at the same signal each time, overlooking a row of back gardens. She’s even started to feel like she knows the people who live in one of the houses. ‘Jess and Jason’, she calls them. Their life – as she sees it – is perfect. If only Rachel could be that happy.

And then she sees something shocking. It’s only a minute until the train moves on, but it’s enough.

Now everything’s changed. Now Rachel has a chance to become a part of the lives she’s only watched from afar.

Now they’ll see; she’s much more than just the girl on the train…

I feel so lucky and honoured to have been given a chance to read what is clearly going to be a smash hit of 2015 .

A big thank you to Alison who sent me a copy to review ,it arrived on the sat morning and it was read by sunday early afternoon.

When I finished I felt like I could finally breathe as this book is tense and makes for addictive reading .

Im shocked this is a debut novel as the writing is very  clever.

Its such a basic concept, sad lonely lady seeks something more in her life and gets that in the way of a little snoop on her daily commute  to work .Think she is looking for some excitement and as the saying goes be careful what you wish for !!!

There are twists and turns with each chapter keeping you on the edge of your seat hooked to the end .

You need to keep focused on whose narrative it is as the time line is different with each one and this is crucial to the plot .

I did figure the storyline out towards the end but it wasn’t in any way predictable .

You have to feel some symphathy with Rachel who isn’t having very much luck with her life since her husband left her and you can feel her desperation at wanting to belong and be loved .

A very dark gripping filled with suspense thriller .

Published 15th January 2015 ….this is going to be HUGE!!
